Tcl/Tk is the language behind. Tcl is a standard script language such as Perl, Python,... Tk is the associated graphics library. Tcl/Tk is widely use.

 Tcl/Tk has a huge set of extensions and is Open Source

 A script language is slower than compilable language.
But for an average use, it is not perceptible.

TkFab^® is easy to use . You can use it as a common spreadsheet using the pointer or the keyboard, but also by manipulating graphical objects.
